HELLBOY

I've always loved this character. And after all these years here's my first painting of good ol' HB. It's a hybrid design from the Mignola/Del Toro with the flaming horn crown motif from the reboot. I just cherry picked design elements that appealed to me. What began as a sketch turned into a pretty fun piece--my take on a HB movie poster if you will. Hopefully it sums up the character--big--red--bad@$$ and ready to take on some monsters in dark murky depths.
